did intke system with open pod, add in fse adjustable feul regulator, voltage stabilizer. mantain extractor but complement with 2 inch piping n 2 1/2 inch muffler, exedy semi cracing clutch, short shifter.....running on hotbit.....tuning cost 280 dunno what my mech did....but the car is suddenly all powerfull i mean for its 'stock form' la....and wats worst its siemen ecu ha ha ha ha.....i wonder if its just psychological....but than i've drove a putra before for 4years...so know the difference....this gti got serious pick up....strange but true...but one thing thou...its a fuel guzzler....really telan minyak lior...one full throtle can see minyak turun..o well...i choose power this what i get....strange huh....not sluggish like normal siemen gti...

Not strange may be all along ur car was juz a bit lag .. Where r u from ? my mechanic can help you to achieve more .. but not as telan minyak ... if u say tekan only can see the the minyak turn is quite bad . Vtec oso not so teruk brother .

ur luck level maybe high ?

Hi D_clothes, where is your mechanic's workshop?

yeah where is ur mech workshop and what can they do beside the big gun like port and polish, adjustable campully+high cam....the usual la....any other small small bits they can do arr ? ive just spend 3.5k for my light modded. btw i've try enquire on oversize throttle body but it cant fit on my siemen gti. i think its true they say siemen ecu is a bit terencat...somehow it connect perfectly this time he he he, as for the makan minyak i have to chechk back with my mech.

actually the thing that makes you feel the car is much more powerful is the exedy semi-r clutch.. good choice though. have you tried head to head with EG6 or EG9 ?

seems your mechanic ticked the right checklist to mod the GTi...

fse fuel regulator set he fuel to be lean (under 40) and the 2" pipe complements to that. that's why it's a fuel guzzler... and it explains why you got the pickup. if he try out head to head with EG6 (weight factor)... probably he'll be at par at 1st and 2nd but hard to kill at 3rd when the VTEC hantu mari.

i have apexi turbo timer with a/f reading function, will check it out, btw i'm fr kl -setiawangsa-, sorry for the late reply open hse la....he he. yeah it telan fuel quite bad....nope never try with v-tech...maybe one day once i've perfected my car-still in testing mode-. btw any of u guys can suggest other modd that can be done SIEMEN Gti ? beside those i've mentioned.

I once had some advanced ignition timing on my car, which caused idling to be a little jerky. When I told my mech to tune it down the power dropped significantly on 3k+ rpms... that could be one of the tunings done.

Jus wan to ask: Wud an e-manage make the fuel regulator become redundant?
Thanx

yup..same like SAFC only manually done...btw i have a question on feul available in malaysia -kl-...ron 98 shell V power ? or are there any higher octane. is it posibble to get race feul like Ron 110..err i think over here ?

i mean is shell V power the highest feul octane available..any other brand...that is the same par or above..am running on v power mostyl.

Of course you can buy racing fuel from local workshop...

whats the octane range of racing and how much the local workshop is selling ? i dont think workshp have it, probably N1 ya.

correction : whats the octane range of racing feul and how much the local workshop is selling ? i dont think every workshop have it, probably N1 ya.

very few mechs have higher octane fuel.but be warned...using it on a standard engine for a prelonged time will damage ur engine.

hmm.....

lean mixture should be logically drink less fuel.... so less likely it'd drink fuel that much.

any explanation of yours?

Is your gti's fuel consumption is equall to the pwer you get ?

if u mean i got power yeah....but have to sacrifies fuel consumption. i'm going back to my mech to check my fse next week.
