Few might argue with the fact that the Volvo S60 is probably the sexiest looking modern Volvo right now and with some serious punch under its hood, it might also be the most fun to drive.
But as all things in life, moderation is for the timid and German tuner Heico Sportiv has released the full deets on their tuning program for the Swedish sedan.
The exterior receives a two-piece front spoiler while the rear benefits from a rear diffuser that could be had with carbon fiber inlays and the boot gets a subtle lid spoiler. Stance is key and with that in mind, a set of sports springs lowers the car to sit nicely on 18-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in low profile rubbers. A quad exit sports exhaust system lets the engine exhale better. On the inside, only an aluminium pedal set, footrest and gear shift knob are the options to be had.
With the outside covered, the engine receives some much needed tender loving care as well. The 2-liter turbo model gets an ECU upgrade to push power up to 297hp and torque to a respectable 350Nm.
The T6 AWD version gets an ECU recalibration to bump power up to 330hp and torque to a mighty 463Nm that allows the century sprint to be dealt with in 5.8-seconds. Top speed has been electronically limited to 250km/h.
While only these two engine options benefit from the mods, the company is preparing ECU recalibrations for the T3, T4 and T5 variants of the S60 as well.
