Dear Zth peeps,

Anybody know the difference using our standard Proton fuel tank and Mitsu's 4WD fuel tank @ reliabality or performance wise? (JUST the fuel tank, the 'besi' thing for petrol - nothing about fuel pump ok! ) Please state your comments here. Logical explaination or experience are most welcome. Need to know, Thanks guys...

if you wanna do straight piping then better to go for 4wd tank. otherwise, stick with the standard tank. 4wd tank is quite a disadvantage when you're running low on fuel and whacking corners compared to the normal ones. 4wd has slightly bigger tank compared to proton ones. around 5 to 10L difference.

Oh, Ah Meng thanks for your reply. Yup I suspected the only difference is while doing straight pipings. I'm asking because I'm planning to stick with standard tank with original route pipings. I guess I can sell of my 4WD tank - It would be ok for me.. how's Under 5? Long time no see.

4wd tank u have to keep minimum rm5 fuel. hehehe. because there is a hump int he middle for "straight piping/4wd axle" fuel can't be distributen evenly when petrol level drops :D
