Hi guys

Good day to you and happy new year

i am having an evo 3 engine under my hood and apparently it has been having extremely high consumption ever few months
apparently RM20 bucks can only give me about 40km/h on a normal driving 100km/h
this is really madness as even previously when i was running my fully mod evo also does not have this high consumption

if any 1 has came about this issue kindly advice me what step or repair u did to rectify this issue as i dont want to spend money on this which is not related to be repaired

i am thinking if it could be my exhaust sensor which has gave way

engine is stock standard, has walbro and a fuel regulator

Many Thanks

what did u do prior to dis high fc? installed anything new? did anything extra ordinary happened?

bad news bro...

1. get your engine diognostic, maybe a few sensor not working
(check light ON?)
2. if all sensor ok, then change fuel filter and check fuel line...
3. if all ok, install piggy bact ecu to remap ur engine and injector (if sensor ok, will be better)
4. check regulator....
5. o2 sensor at exhaust might be faulty (send wrong signal to ecu)
6. sensor at trottle body (map?) , same case, send wrong signal to ecu....

* cannot tell what problem like this, must chek all....

HI xtremeleo - there is nothing extraordinary done on the engine... ever since i plunk this stick engine i have only service it every month to change black oil and gearbox oil...thats it....that is what surprises me

Tnx alot har1th7 , as even i think its my sensor that gave way, but is there any reliable person/shop is able to check this. really need to sort this issue out..or else my weekly FC is almost 250bucks just to go n come back work n go near by hse on weekends

ya.. theres one place in usj... the row behind ah heng, at the other end.. he fixes car electrical stuff... he can fix ECUs, sensors etc..

have u done any diagnostic check yet? maybe there r sensors dat need changing
