Other than looking nice are there any benefits adding them to a stock car?
How about if the whole exhaust system changed?

Confirmed the whole system would give benefits but I was wondering about the tip itself would it give any benefits if I equip it to a stock system or modified system.

i think the 2" to 3" he was talking about the TIP only...
yes changing the tip changes the exhaust note.
for me the hks dragger's 5" tip was so bloody blaring that i swapped it for a 3" sebring.... sounded much better since then
but i'm tired of the loud exhaust still... grr

hi guys i need some help here, hope u guys can help me out.
recently i notice that rear exhaust tip is making some weird vibration sound when i rev my car lightly. yesterday i bring it to an exhaust shop, the mechanic check it by knocking on it lighty and says that the "core" or inside has cracked. he says that if i continue using it it'll result in high fuel consumption and also the "timing" will run. not so sure what he meant by timing.

he showed me a couple exhaust tips, ranging from 150 to 200 also got. some of it looks kinda big and bulky, so i asked the owner and he says that nothing to worry about as the sound won't be very loud and it'll add a bit of performance to it.

so you guys got any idea about it?

fuel consumption?i do not see a connection.but i might be wrong.
but changing the tip will NOT give you better power.just a different (bassy) tone.
