Good interms of what?
Power?? Both same bhp except torque.
Both cars AYC had problem, but 5 is slightly better, if you don't use AYC, nvm la.

If u just plug n play without modification, EVO 4 is enough. Cheaper mar.

Curious. Can still swap on 1.6 Waja? I thought max is 20% from original cc?

acbc
maybe i'm out of date...coz frm what i know the max is 25% frm ori cc...
so..it's changed already la...aisyeh.....frustrated

I think it is 20% only as confirmed by many members.

Fear not... you can still put GSR albeit harder to find... :(

izzit GSR gearbox position is same with waja? how about the mounting?

convert E4 or 5..
must lock gearbox..
then AYC still useable ???
heard lots of problem with E4 AYC..

i think use GSR safer
1.6->1.8

Newer GSR la... not those older ones for Wira / Satria / Putra chassis.

ok...thanks...then did u know how much for this gsr engine?
tq...

want evo power prepare to pay petrol bill like
RM 50 for 200 to 250max KM
even ur right foot are very de light

now jpj ther is 25%.
but 1.6-2.0 is very-veri difficult.
because jpj not count 1.6. but is 15xx cc.
so for waja 1.6-2.0 is more than 25%

so dont need convert so much, just save money, than but real evo.. haha better maaa hv 4 wheel wow... body also more harder. n nice than waja.

evo4 fuel pum is 120l/h, cam different.
evo5 is 150l/h, cam hire higher, piston made from other matel, inside engine block hv 1 cooler spare.

so which 1 u 1 2 go for?
gor me i will choose 4G18P haha "power"
good luck man

ya some more, wat AYC, ACD, all dont need to use. cos u using 2 wheel.
than just lock the 4 wheel gear box to 2 wheel only.
but if 1 2 use 4 wheel, u must hv those thing.

actually nowdays my car (with minimal mods) needs +- RM40 for 200km... should i install safc first to reduce my fuel consumption? :o

yaaa. i remember aldi.
evo4 cam is 256/252. injector is 500cc
evo5 cam is 252/262, injector is 550cc.

haha my waja petro is 70, i can go for 450 lehhhh....

bnr34
r u driving auto or manual?...mine is manual....
so...back to the topic...what is the best choice for me...n someone haf suggest GSR engine 4G93T to me....but how about the mounting...izzit ok?

i m driving manual. saltydogg have already post my car picture in the forum "engine to transplate"
if u think to transplate gsr is also ok.
the engine mounting is gam-gam. no problem, u can plug-n-play.
everything dont need to modified.
but normally u can found tritronic (+/-) gearbox. manual difficult to find.
jpj easy prove.
