Unveiled at the shores of Lake Como in northern Italy, the stylishly Italianized Z4 roadster had its sheets pulled off to reveal the BMW Zagato Coupe.<b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b><b></b>

Aerodynamically optimized and ready to hit the road, the coupe has already been broken in at BMW's own test facility. There’s no specifics as to what its packing under the hood, but what takes our amazement is the hand-crafted aluminium hood and almost hidden to the eye details such as the twin-kidney grille mesh that’s made up of little Zs.

A double-bubble "doppia gobba" roof speaks intently of every Zagato designed car; where the initial purpose during the early years was to help accommodate a racing helmet which happens to enhance both the car's aerodynamics as well as increases the roof's torsional rigidity. The roof of almost every Zagato features this design.

The 19” light-alloy wheels is a classically sporty five-spoke design that hints of a propeller and subtly pays homage to the origins of both companies.

The exclusive exterior paint finish Rosso Vivace is a nique red that seemingly brings the surfaces and forms of the BMW Zagato Coupé to life.

The reduction of the wind resistance is assured with the Kamm Tail design, without any need of a very stretched "drop" shape of the tail and doesn't need the support of any fix or mobile rear wing since the aerodynamic of its tail is already very efficient and especially sexy since it was formed almost without a single joint, appearing as if formed from a single mould.
