wei bro, u mod the motor ah??

i just bought it ahahhahahahaha :P

fstrader:

got yours already. enjoy,i use the ex-tamiya motor, i think the motor is hi-torque one. put it in, then play on smooth surface like tiles. if u play on tarmac sorry cannot. the power wouldn't be enough to spin the wheel on tarmac. ;) you need relay mod+add more battery to play on tarmac and also a low grip tyre.

i'm using the audley race-tin with three battery one, drift drift.. then realize my gear is worn out. now no spare part. :(

enjoy your car.

wei how to put relay lar...i took the tyre and rims..sprayed it black liow

no lah.. itz speed controller lah.. not the whole things.. itz cost RM200 something.. if i got money i want to buy racing controller cost RM390, i got 3 motor, std one, racing one n super fast one...

urs its those expensive one mar, these are tin racers only wor...so expensive one meh?

walao....the more i c the link posted by bazet....the more i find audley ridiculous....

totally copy from kyosho mini-z alot of stuffs.....the front n rear suspensions, turbo (relay kits) n etc....

but everything needs CA glue, drill holes n etc...ahahah....

mini-z doesnt need a drop of glue to upgrade the parts like rims n tyres, chamber, toe bar, suspensions n bearings for the fronts, the rear has the anti roll bar, suspensions and arms, bearings, den the gears got pinion gears , ball bearing differential gears....den the IC chip which is very small size and can stack up into 4 or 5 stacks for each side and with diff type of motors.....

impressive for audley to come out around 70% of the upgrades almost as same as the mini-z but with a much more cheaper price....but of coz not as presentable as the kyosho.....price is the factor....ahahah

FsTrader..u damn fast go out get the Audley Race Tin Can car ar? Which model did u get?

Hey guys.. why don't we set up a R/C Club. We can then race in a safe environment.. imagine doing drifts, drag racing and circuit racing in a car park... don't have to worry police come kacau us... hehehehe

I think I can't afford the Mini-Z lah.. so maybe get the Audley ones... just for the fun of trying it.

Where to buy the upgrade parts for these Audley Gen3 Race Tin Cars?

bro initalD, yes got myself one just now...i bought skyline r34  cf hood bai :P

hmmm i am modding the engine with more wires...

but then who cares how fast it goes, its FUN mar...ahhahahahaha :D

you guys r really into this car. kyosho mini-z is exspensive. thank you to audley for making such a cheap imitation. :)

if you want audley original parts upgrade, you can get it at your local toyshop that selling the rc car.

they have wheel and tyre upgrade
motor upgrade.
gear upgrade
spring upgrade
all between RM50-RM10
cheap.... cheap....

the mini-z's look like a hell of alot of fun
i might go invest in one too but RM500? shit

i dont thinnk the mini racers can go up to 100kmh though

i used to have the mugen onroad gas RC cars
those are 1/8 scale and can go pretty fast.
they also have a 2 speed gearbox which is pretty neat.
now those guys can fly

but i stopped playing a while back
the hobby is too expensive

initial car itself already cost 2-3k without the remote

since this is a R/C thread, i was wondering anyone knows where i can buy those R/C car that can drft? i saw it in japan option mag, looks damn cool to play with, anyone knows where i can find those and how much they cost?

sorry brother, i am far from you. In sarawak, here really hard to find any shop. need to order.

mostly all the RC car is Rear wheel and have LSD(i think la). so all rc car can drift. only the user skill is needed.
but remember: your RC car must have power(hi torque)+low grip tyre and to make handling easy try to use the gun style remote. post a pic as soon as i get a dig. cam. :)

my cheapo rc car can drift on tiles and glossy surface only. tarmac cannot because no power. ;) no part to upgrade. sure is fun. try it.

I have a colleague who has 2 F1 mini-z cars. He tells me can upgrade the exhaust to make it sound like real F1 cars. That fella spend nearly RM2K on this hobby. Those Kyosho Mini-Z are really expensive.
