oooo...thx alot guys...coz im boring to drive a stock car...i juz mod 3-1 extractor,sports a/f,platinum plug n well adjust the timing n the ratio of the carb...can feel beter performance than a stock engine..so feel like wana further upgrade la

if u reali wan to stick to carb, u can install adjustable cam pulley but must downside of fuel consumption..
 
change de carb jet... gips more power too... hehe...

i believe if transplant engine better than u modify ur crb...u can put in 1.0cc in ur car.

but still 660 + 25% = 825cc.. how lotsa 660cc owner i know convert to 850cc without resorting duit kopi...

go turbo easier... 660cc NA = 660cc Turbo.. no increase in capacity...

lotsa my fren using stock L2/L5 turbo engine... all are still ok...

apart from that, there are L5 NA.. 2 version available... 3 (can be subdivided into SOHC and DOHC) and 4 cyl... both are injection ( the 4 cyl is using timing chain lagi!), more powerful than stock 660cc carb but retains injection fuel efficiency
 
660cc to 660cc turbo is ez task, try find newer engine than L2,L5 coz those engine going to obselete soon..dats my advice coz i drivin one..

what about the latest gen mira? do they still use the same engine code?

or...what abt DVVT ones? heard that there's one viva owner's upgrading to k3-vet and selling his 1.0 EJDE DVVT wif gearbox for cheaps...like rm 1.5k

then try go hunt for his engine if posible, i not sure whether da latest mira using same engine code..i believe if fitted wif 1.0 litre in a kancil, u can definitely da pulling force..previously mine is a ori 850cc then i downgraded it to 660cc turbo, da JPJ officer asked why i change to smaller cc, i juz answer him cheaper roadtax and da 850cc engine rosak..hahaha

hahah... heard it from a fren who is related to this guy... some other guy beat me to it.... so dunno how he do the swap...

yeah... maybe 1.0 dvvt couldnt match 660cc turbo in term of hp but still its more than standard 850cc if you ask me....

My engine oledy failing....see my signature :biggrin: ... then wait until company bonus next year to swap wif another engine.... pray that the dvvt engines will be more abundant next year.. or mira engine's still around that is :biggrin:
