hahaha who got varis cf hood. sell to me laa. i dont want vented cf hoods lah prefer oem ones. haha. dont care la as long as i have a hood. can go back to using my tezza. car is still at home hurting. vision quoted me rm5k for a hood. decided to seek help fr you guys. hehe.

I sold my ori hood couple of months back, my varis cf was also sold with my car recently.

FYI , you can always get cf hoods from shops in sunway and whatnot, but i dont think anyone keeps stock for altezza. I waited for 2months to get it fabricated and delivered from japan :confused_smile:

Bro, I dont remember saying there's anything wrong with vented hoods..:confused_smile:

Anyway, i'm not well-versed bout racecraft's products. What i know is that the vented hood designs that they have are actually the replica of the real deal:
the HKS Kansai hoods.

One is made in Japan, the latter. ..who knows..heheh:shades_smile:

how much lighter are CF hoods compared to stock ones..?

stock hood = 17.5kg

cf hood = 7 - 8 kg

Ori hood(without heatshield) = 17.3kg

Varis = 7.1kg

17.3 - 7.1 = 10.2kg. cool!
