I've always believed that the original parts are enough to get the car moving as long as they are in tip-top condition.

Now I'm gonna bite my own lip and say I need 2-pot front. Anyone can recommend a PNP caliper for Wira? PCD100 is probably asking for too much but is there such a thing?

EVOs are all PCD114.5 and I'm not familiar with any alternatives.

Please advise!

u can plug n play wira knuckle with evo twin port. just the disc u need ask ppl to drill pcd100 only.

upgrade to double servo from wira 1.8 or evo 123. will be better coz single servo from wira/satria is not enough supply the liquid to feed the caliper.

My only concern with this upgrade is "on/off" brakes.
But many of my friends got better brakes with this mod. One even got welder to custom make an additional servo and add on to the original....even bro. heefmy mention bigger servo....

Hmm.. ok then. I'll go source for a Evo / 1.8 servo instead of a twin pot caliper. It's cheaper anyway!

For standard wira henjen, an upgrade servo frm 1.8 / evo 'll do the job.
If ur wira henjen converted to higher specs, i rekmen u to get better brakes.
Get the complete evo I/ II/ III fr brakes. Some mods r required

I was waaaaaaaaiiiting for you to join this thread. LOL! Where's them Nissan 4-pots!?

what I mean by overkill is the price. I can't justify RM400 for yellow EBC for my wira. I mean, good bite pads are everywhere and some for 1/4 of the price.

2-pot brakes for my Wira isn't overkill la. Just the other day I almost slammed into a stupid Myvi who thought it would be great to cut from one lane to another only to brake and make a u-turn at the very last minute. The rotors were screaming murder I tell you before the tyres started screaming murder.

LOL.. been reading... but no input til now kakakakkakaka

as for the nissan 4pots... the silvia ones are still in my car.. carrying it around everywhere i go... cant use coz no spring thing... tried searching some spare part shops.. all oso no have....so gave up

now hunting for r32 4pots for cheap....but i think my 4pot project have to postpone again due to the fact my car aircond started giving problems yesterday :(

EDIT: oh yeah... u should check if the EVO3 calipers are PnP to the wira knuckle... if they are.. then all u need to do is redrill the PCD for the rotors and ur good to go

Do you have the part number for the spring? I help you find.

The Evo3, Airtrek, FTO are all plug and play for the Wira. Btw, why must I use back the same rotor? Can't I just find a suitable PCD100 one that'll go with the caliper? I'm trying to understand the logic here.

Putra, so all 1.6/1.8 already (front and rear). The double layer servo is definitely in the upgrade plan list, just not yet. Recently bought a really expensive part.

500C pads might offer better braking power, but I'm more interested in streetability. How's the noise? Does it squeal? Bite from cold?

nope...dunno part number...dunno where to find also... but ill browse around and let u know la... will be adding u in FB soon after this post :D

the caliper mounts (distance etc) will comply with the rotor size... if u can find a rotor thats PCD100 and suits the mounts then no problem...but quite a hassle.. plus... theyre usually sold in caliper+rotor set.. and redrilling to PCD100 can be done easily and cheap.

i myself running pcd114 rotor redrilled to pcd100.... no biggie.

Guys,

i just got my front shocks changed on my Nissan b14. Monroe Sensatrac shocks. new shock absorber mounts, new rubber padding between spring and shock absorber, new inner rubber bushing.

now the question, i still hear noises when i go over rough surface. its like something is looose and this was the same type of noise i used to hear even before changin the shocks. i dunno if its something to do with the arm bushings, the lower arm or the bushings on the steering rack if there's...
