Engine Oil -apexi N1 Oil 5W-50 Or Blitz S3 20w-50
L.S.D/GearBox -Kaaz 80w-90
trust me when I say, dont use this oil if your engine is stock... the viscosity is too thick, you can actually lose some power... high powered race built engines that undergo long periods of high revs could probably benefit from this kind of viscosity, but not a daily driven car

and ajidsky, before you give advice, you might want to do some research first..

i thnk seldom ppl use 20W.

for Malaysia weather, i recommend 10W50,if newer GTT stick to 5W.

5W-40 is my preferred choice daily driver and weekend blast. No trackdays.

by the way, what engine oil temp are you guys running on your rb26??
i'm getting 100-105 at normal, but around 120 under heavy driving.
on track, may even go up to 125...
i dont have an oil cooler, maybe thats the reason??

depends on what oil you are using too, ester based oils (motul) give me lower peak temperature

i use petronas full syn 15w50 now and peak without oil cooler was 105, with oil cooler peak now is high 90's

120 is very bad for your engine...Nissan recommends engine bearings to be changed if your oil reaches 120..... ouch

if i were you, back off the throttle when it passes 100 (which doesnt take too long to reach) until you pasang oil cooler.... what to do....

For engine I use Motul 300V Le Mans 20w60 every 3,000kms
For gearbox I use Motul Gear Competition 75w140 every 15,000kms or so

Does not mean it'll work for you though. We don't all have the same setups.

No $shit Sherlock. Search function kan ada.

Dude, oil cooler pronto. I have twin Blitz oil coolers I may sell if you're interested. Your oil temp will never go near 100 ever again.

Its really not that big a deal because every 3k kms works out to 2-3 times a year based on my use. Thats not terribly expensive for a GTR I reckon.

Oil Catch Can Help needed

I have no idea whether my oil catch can is properly connected as it has 3 inlet/outlet. Please refer to the pic. Can someone correct me if this is connected wrongly and where it should be connected to? Please assume that I do not know where the PCV valve is... Thanks!
