RCA and terminal strip are gold plated.
The power protection circuit will change from green/red and shut down the unit if:
The unit overheats
DC current is generated
The speaker terminals are short circuited
Controls/ Displays: The following are located on the top of the amplifier - after setting, they can be covered with the included see-through Plexiglas:
Power level meter: 12-LED (red) segments (one each for left and right channel) display output levels
Power/Protection LEDs: Three LEDs; Over current LED is green during normal operation, switches to red when output is too high. Offset LED is green during normal operation; switches to red when voltage is too high. Thermal LED is green during normal operation; switches to red when the temperature is too high.
Variable level knobs: Adjust input level, one for front and one for rear
Direct on/off switches: When on signal does not go through crossovers and equalizer; one for front and one for rear
Filter selector switches: Can select high pass, low pass or off; one for front and one for rear
Frequency adjustment knobs: Sets cut off frequency when either low or high pass filter is engaged, 50-200Hz, 12 dB/Octave, one for front and one for rear
5-Band Equalizer: 5 rotary knobs per set; centered at 50Hz, 200 Hz, 800 Hz, 3.2kHz and 12.8kHz; each can be varied by +/-12 dB; one set for front and one set for rear
