Guys, could i just ask for those who are driving the b-lines, or neos in general for that matter, what is you fc like? i go highway driving to senawang, its like 8.6 ltrs per 100km. its a bit much right? any advise to get it lower? thanks!!

change spark plugs lolol. I dunno much about FC. It all depends on your foot. if you speed alot then surely FC is high. Like mine :D

SENAWANG many traffic light...if u rush for the traffic light for sure your fc is high....try resetting everytime when u fill up the tank....mine got 7.3

when i got my car,the lcd display on the meter cluster showed my fc as 10l/km.one month later, its showing 9.6l/km.but i dont know whether can believe or not.=/
:smokin:

usually for most campro engine it will be around 7.1 to 8.5l/100km

i've try to go slow all the way from melaka to klang
result=fc 4.5...hehehe
but damn bored
normally my fc around 6 to 7 even on hard drive

My neo cps, Decat already and open pod.

If I cruise on highway about 6L/100km. Even if I hantam around 140-150 still around 6L+/100km overall.

Removing the catalytic converter by replacing it with an after market extractor surely helps.
And if new car after 10k km service your fc will be better.

its from fc meter...
always take a look on the fc meter while driving
from ayer keroh toll to hicom toll, its below 4,around 3.8
here the specific condition
engine standard,just change the muffler
speed around 60 to 80 km/h
btw,its 1.2 to 2.0 when u downhill genting

the FC meter not accurate one la bro, what it does is just to let us know whether our driving style at that time use more or less fuel,

best if u filled ur tank to brim, drive till light come out, filled full tank again, record KM, record how many litre u pump in,

then calculate

i've make some calculation for u
satria neo FC for 1.6 5mt=6.0 l/100km (90km/h constant)
if u drive 70km/h constant,u'll get FC 4.6 l/100km
mine was 4.5 l/100
malacca to port klang=160 km
160kmh/70kmh=2.3 hours=2 hours 17 minutes
i drive from malacca at 1 am,reach port klang at 3.30 am=2 hours 30 minutes
n on that night,my meter show me that my fuel is just slightly decrease
so i do roughly trust my fc meter

btw,if u calculate your fc as u do below

u'll just get the l/km of your driving style, not the car fuel usage, you can't get exact result even roughly to be an example since u can't tell the exact speed while fc is related to speed
yes its is liter/100kilometer but according to the speed
now can u tell me what n y there is different between this 2 fc?
example:
1.from melaka to port klang with 160km/h constant=12.0
2.from melaka to port klang with 90km/h constant=6.0
using same vehicle n same distance, what do u think bro?
1 more thing, the road of the journey, climbing or going downhill will also affect your fc

how do u know during 160km drive from melaka to P.K, your car only use 4.5L/100km which mean 7.2 littre for 160km ?
please elaborate more ? how do u come out with this 'satria neo FC for 1.6 5mt=6.0 l/100km (90km/h constant)' ?

if i drive from port klang to melaka with full tank, after 160km , i fill till full tank again, which mean i will know exactly how many litre my car use, & then calculate, do u think this will be less accurate?

u'll just get the l/km of your driving style, not the car fuel usage what do mean by this bro:confused: if i know how many litre my car use for every km, if that is not my car fuel usage, that what l/km mean?

and no, it's not because of speed, it's because of engine RPM, try driving to melaka 160km, speed 60km/h but use till 3rd gear only:driver:

the only thing that i agree with u is yes its rpm matter, but when speed is constant mean there is nothing to do with acceleration so do rpm
so please,understand my reply
btw bro, haven't u read any spec sheet of satria neo? the 1 which has speed, length, weight, engine whatsoever....

yeah i read it like 5 years ago, so i'm guessing the 6.0l/100km thing is based on proton quoted FC? bro, every campro that came out from proton will have some variation in their performance so it's not wise to use proton quoted FC as reference to calculate ur car's FC

we r not competing in fuel save competition lah bro
no need to get actual fc
every1 also will get get it roughly
but the way u drive will affect your fc
n my example give u how low your fc can get from neo
if u r telling that your fc is around 19.9l/100km when u calculate after a hard drive n from the litre u fill your fuel tank, should it be n example or guide for others?
this is what i try to tell... think before u ask
u also dont know which rate of rpm do campro do best, kan?
hehehe

Satria Neo CPS
FC: 5.2 - 6.5 depends on how heavy my foot.
Spec: Works FPR, Custom Extractor, K&N Drop In, Bosch Iridium Fusion, R3 Spec crank pulley, Pressure tyre front 32, back 31.

p/s: i dont really trust the FC shown. Maybe it doesn't accurate enough.

wait, i never doubt if ur car have low FC, i'm just asking how can u sure ur car only use 4.6l/100km or 7.36l for ur 160km journey?

if u just want to tell how low ur car's FC based on FC meter, might as well drive downhill & get 0.1L/100km:rofl:

i did said the FC meter tell us whether our driving style at that time use less or more fuel only, and not the car FC for the whole 160km journey

what make u so sure i don't know @ what RPM campro work best & what it got anything to do with our discussion?
