Hello zth ppl,

Just wondering anyone here have done removing revcut on their engines with stock ecu. I already remove revcut and rechip the A/F up to 9000rpm. What I experience is superb 0-100kmh, especially 1st n 2nd gear really helps alot. Hope to read some sharing here :)

he will come to meet you, test ur car n make sure ur ecu not spoilt. then he will take back and use his device to unlock the revcut, then remap the fuel ratio to richer. but you will need a piggyback to fine tune. if ecu easy to rechip it cost 350, if complicated maximum cost 450. thats it. if it canot work, he will refund u 100%

stage 2 means
- porting head
- balancing
- highcams
- forged piston
- lightened pulley
- adjustable sprokets

stage 3
- nos
- big turbo
- standalone ecu
- etc

remove revcut sure use emanage to control the fuel more than 7000rpm. by revving to 8000rpm, any car actually have benefit while changing 1,2,3 gears. but minimum is ported head + fuel regulator

To remove the rev cut for the standard ECU in order to make the car rev higher for normal NA car is pretty dangerous. if you really need to rev higher, better option is to buy those Variable Valve engine such as Vtec, Mivec etc..

However, it sesiapa really want to go for it, make sure the tuner Air + Fuel Ratio setting is correct so that the engine durability is there and do some research on the successful result.

Twelve years ago, Charlie of Matspeed did the ECU Rechip (by adding E-prom) to my Wira Aeroback 1.6M (4G92P SOHC). My conclusion about the result: The mid-power and top-end is better. Fourth gear redlined at 8000 rpm or so (sorry can't recall) at 200kmh. 5th gear proton is useless, therefore it's hardly go past 205 kmh. Everything else are stock (except for the rear muffler).

Charlie told me that before he commercialised the new setting for SOHC 4G92P, he took more that six months to test it's reliability. Then only he dare to commercialised it.

My suggestion is that please do your research before doing it or to get the correct tuner to do it.

Hi guys,

I am having this problem for quite some time. My car tend to go left even in an even road. Steering also can feel lighter when turning to left than turning to right. I have gone to a lot of tyre shop to do alignment and balancing but didn't solve the problem. I need an opinion of what could be the cause of this, can anyone help me please..
