A gaming seat company based in Netherlands has shook hands with Red Bull Racing to use their branding on arguably the coolest new Formula One game simulator yet, with a seating position that is touted as almost mirroring the seating position of a Formula One car, meaning this is the closest you’ll get to actually squeezing yourself into the cockpit of a Formula One machine.

The Playseat F1 will be branded with the Red Bull Racing logo and be swathed in the team’s Formula One colours we well. It’s also compatible with all steering wheel and pedal sets on the market and even comes with a G27 gearshift support.

You can plug in the Playseat F1 to any of your gaming consoles such as the PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360 and Wii. The seats are wrapped in black vinyl that has a feel similar to leather with red double stitching all around.

“The time that people raced, perched on a kitchen chair with a racing wheel clamped to the table, have been gone for some time now. But the new Playseat F1 takes virtual racing to a completely new level. The interaction with the racing game is unrivalled. The user feels every bump in the road surface. People will experience the race as if they are real racing drivers,” said Playseats founder Fernando Smit.

The Playseat F1 will hit the market in May 2011, shooting it to the top of our Christmas wish-list without a shadow of a doubt. The company even claims to have received orders from unnamed Formula One drivers. If you’re thinking of splashing out on one, you might want to go for the unbranded version that retails for US$1,115. If Red Bull runs through your veins, then the Red Bull branded unit will set you back US$1,325.

Hi,
Anyone knows where to buy those plastic lock clips which is used to secure the carpet in the boot of Proton Wira?
It's called push-lock if I'm not mistaken. Don't have any pics of it at the moment but I hope you guys know what I'm talking about.

Also looking for clips for the side step (as in the pic below).
The one circled in blue has got the housing attached to it but the one circled in red already gone.
Anyone knows where to get them (the housing and also the metal clips)??
