Lego is awesome, it doesn’t matter if you’re five or 50 years old, joining the little bricks together to bring something in the depths of your imagination into reality is one of the best feelings ever. Once in a while though, you get a truly amazing Lego creation that simply blows your mind away. This one though, is way beyond that, it leaves you feeling like a complete failure at life as such is its awesomeness.

This scale model of a Porsche 911 Cabriolet PDK was done by a student and everything on the car works just like the real deal, right down to the PDK transmission. The door handles, handbrakes, disc brakes, retractable hard top, steering wheel, hood, lights, retractable spoiler and all-wheel drive system all function like they should. Heck, the retractable hard top actually adds to the rigidity of the car.

All in all, there are over 3,500 parts in the model, including eight electric motors, three remote controls and 6.4 meters of wire. The best bit is, everything can be controlled from the remote control that he fashioned out of Lego bits as well. Remember to check out the toggle for switching gears on the remote control towards the end of the video.

Hit play for a lesson in engineering.

Another BMW F10 520d Optimum Opti-Coated
Got another call from a concerned BMW owner about protecting his brand new ride (not as brand new as this one: ProDetailing: BMW F10 520d Optimum Opti-Coated) but still with less than 1000km on the clock. The owner wanted us to coat his ride as soon as possible to protect the original factory paint with Optimum Opti-Coat which is harder and more scratch...
