Definitely better than the previous HPC. More participants were seen yesterday. I really like the fleet of exotic cars.

I saw a super rare BMW E30 M3. Anybody took any pics of it?

Kookaburra,

Nope. That's not me. That Alex is one of the moderators for SNC.net ... wearing sunglasses right? I'm in Group 2.. the only Neo in group 2..

calvin,

regretting of not going already? muahahhaa...

;)

calvin,
The J reg is coincidental. They are all KL based actually. And they don't keep the cars at home but drive them hard in SIC.

Not seeing it on the road depends on where you live, as the Maser QP is daily driven.

Apart from the extreme heat, its a very enjoyable track day! Should have more tents for the groupings as we are virtually roasted alive! (Muahahahaha!). Good tips from Alex Yoong on tackling certain corners.

So who will be in the next round in July? I'll certainly be there!

yeah... got to see alex yoong man... hehhee... malaysia boleh! kakaka...

anywayz, although it is fun, but it isn't the full track. Even for the rest of the HPC events for 2007, all are conducted on the south track... i seriously hope HPC can change to a full track course. :)

i didn't bring a white pen... if not i'll ask him to sign my helmet! ARGH!!!

The south track itself is challenging in its own way... I take the half track session as training ground to improve my lines on the 9, 11-14 combination of corners. Turn 12 is the killer, this is where you can shave 1-2 sec if you do it right....

Learning on the full track can be taunting.. However, I would think HPC would organise full track session pending on track availability...

I always preferred the South Circuit, even when we race. Less time wasted on the straights, more excitement on the most important corners of all: T12, T13, T14 hehehe!!

/adian

The south circuit is definitely wayyy more fun the full circuit. It also gives me a chance to practice T12-T14. Awesome event!

Here are some pics.

Amazing experience for first timers like me. Hehe.

Was driving the only FC3S old skool' (as far as I know).

Some learnings though.
Food...need 1 stall selling something
Cover... the sun was altogether too punishing on man and machine.

Overall, 5 star experience though!

elsm80,

great car dude. I always loved the FC3S... were you in grp 3? i didn't see a FC in grp 2...

A Post Every 5 Mins

Not sure if the title made sense.

Situation:
A person went to live abroad for an extended period of time. When they returned to M'sia, they brought the car they purchased in that country with them, success, no problems.

Question:
After several years..they decided to sell it, are there any additional paperwork (as a buyer/seller) needed since the car was imported personally? I dont know how the AP thing or the like works.

Can anyone enlighten me?
