hey dudes,

just wanna ask anyone here knows where to enlarge a TB (TrottleBody) for 4G13/15? a fren of mine is asking cuz he wanna enlarge his TB. How much does it roughtly cost? whaT else must he enlarge?

He's current setup is;

4g15p block;
1.6 pistons
4g91 injectors
adjustable fuel pump
super touring clutch set (lightened 2kg)
mid cams
ported and polished
CAI
engine block skimmed
customade extractor


what else can he do to make his car more powerful?

1) change the cams to high cams?
2) change the valvesprings, valves, ect...
3) rebore the tb and intake manifold?
4) use adjustable campuley?
5) btw, how to increase the engine compresion ratio?
6) is it worth to install an piggyback or standalone ECU?

change cam 2 higher duration if u wan 2 get top speed more...
valve spring needed 2 be change if onli u change 2 very aggresiv cam like 28x o 29x...
rebore intake manifold n put 1.8 t.body
use adjustable cam pulley 2 futher tune ur cam 2 suit ur liking...
compression can be increse wit thinner metal gasket...
stand alone o piggy back doesnt increase lots of hp 4 our car...
but of coz it can fine tune our setting 2 the most optimum
 
juz curious..
is there any adjustable fuel pump??? or it was adjustable fuel regulator??
 
sorry my bad, it was an adjustable fuel regulator. so the best thing is that he bore the intake manifold to put in a 1.8 tb... can fit meh the 1.8 tb? the 1.8 tb wirring the same kah?
 
wiring all same...my 4g91 also using 1.8 t.body n manifold...if mivec 1 lagi syiok..
btw..wat do u mean engine block skimmed???
 
i used to see enlarged TB's at AutoBags, dunno if they still have them.

question, 4G91 also using the ISC ah?
 
the 'engine block skimmed' that i dunno what it is. my fren just told me that it's skimmed. but why the mivec tb is much better then the 1.8? can fit the perdana tb arr?
 
when you skim your block, you get a higher compression which equates to more power lor. then you add metal gasket to further increase your compression.

eh Yong, his friend is using 4G15 wor... those don't run on ISC right? where can use the 4G9x Throttle Body?
 
so basically kenot use the mivec or 1.8 tb rite cuz dun have the 'ISC'.... then can we enlarge the existing 1.5/1.3 tb to a bigger one? rebore the tb & intake manifold or is better if we can make a quadtrottle?
 
last time, AutoBags in Kelana Jaya were selling enlarged TB's but you gotta exchange with your existing TB.

if you want to use Quad Throttle, you need to add a lotta other things. for instance, bigger injectors and EMS. also you will need a lotta money.
 
hahaha,,,tiu loh...now onli know he asking bout 4g15...hahaha...i tot 1.5...so i tot 4g91..ahahahaa

if 4g15...i think u need 2 get the enlarged throttle body from autobacs

normally ppl skim head 2 get higher compression...
adding metal gasket wont get more power...will lower the compression onli...changing 2 thinner 1 yes....

4 throttle is very nice 2 play...but need more $$$....u need a good engine management...dun think piggy can take it....a stand alone mayb like e manage o haltech etc....
 
nolah bro..if u add a thinner gasket 2 ur stock gasket set..tat will onli lower the compression mah...

if 'change' 2 thinner metal gasket...not using the stock gasket,then onli higher compression rite...
