Hi everyone.

I know this question is best answered by a mechanic, but I need to know in advance whether if a damaged air valve itself can be replace by its own or must the entire tyre or entire tube be changed?

The tyres I'm using is a tubeless one. Any help would be appreciated. TQ

btw, it's damaged due to negligence as the rubber cap was missing for some time. Hence the valve got damaged by exposure. Thx

The air valve itself can be replace by its own .. About RM15 per air valve

Maybe I can be of assistance.
If the whole valve have to be replaced, a rubber one will cost around RM5, metal ones from RM10 to 20, depending on the type and where you get them.
But from my reading, the internal of the valve is damaged from non using of the valve cap?
Means dirt, water have gone in and damaged the valve. If that is the case, just go to a tyre shop and ask them to replace the internal valve. It will be FOC as they have plenty of spares.
