hi everyone. i am wondering which would be better. i am driving a 2008 satria neo with campro engine. which would be better campro turbo or gsr ck ? i am aiming for 250 whp.

Feedback please ~~

BTW
campro turbo for 250 whp will cost roughly 10k
gsr ck with roughly 170whp will cost 11k

that would be gsr seems like a better option...

bigger displacement and already a good engine basic to tune for more hp....

p/s:there is no way campro BOT reliable for 200hp costs around 10k....with that amount u'll only get the basic tuned BOT less than 190hp to start with....

basic bot for campro will be around 180 whp will cost 6k. confirmed d. i asked d

250whp on ff car, dayyum, u like torque steer ah:hmmmm:

to get a campro to produce 180whp with turbo is no problem, but to get it to produce that hp & being reliable at the same time is totally different thing

well...i'm curious sure there's something hidden in the price as well.....

btw even if u manage to get that cheap with that level of power, i will still prefer gsr....because when u chasing power, get the biggest displacement first...plus gsr engine already a good reliable turbo engine...only u just need improvement to bump the power to over 200hp.....

while in campro BOT u need to modify a lot of things to be at the same level and still, the power delivery was different because of displacement was smaller....

terbaru, Bold On Turbo kit untuk campro...
boost 0.4bar dari Hybrid turbo , fast respond dan selamat di gunakan tanpa perlu tukar piston,,,
kos powerzone BOT RM7k tidak termasuk management ...

This is the response I get from Powerzone. So try to imagine yourself how much HP will get you on a 0.4 bar boost from Hybrid turbo? lol..

hello,

the best deal is act you just pick the GSR, this is because the stock hp it was 18+ vs the stock campro 125-145.

The gsr has alot of options to make a car performance powerful also you can tune for 300hp easily.

If the stock campro it will cost almost 9k -10k for only 180hp but still lost with stock gsr engine.

This is because the displacement difference.

the stock engine with bolt on will cause you alot of money in term of maintain, this is because the engine made not for turbo.

The gsr engine is a violence , durable and performance!

go for gsr. good basic engine to start with. campro bot might not suitable and reliable for daily driver.

another issue with campro engine no matter how high the power after mods,

there's still a laggy throttle respond thanks to the drive BAI wire system...

gsr is always a better option . the same amount u spend for campro turbo if u spend it for gsr you get more power.
but if u want to stick to the originality and be a campro-er all the way than you can got for BOT . which one you prefer ?

Theres alot of misperception here..

Camproturbo spent rm10,000 (with managwment) 185hp on wheel not BHP ya..
Can upgrade to 381whp (420bhp) highest so far on Gen2
Spare parts bersepah as waja / saga taxi, and waja polis also campro..

GSR ck manual spent rm12,000 only halfcut, install n top overhaul n timing belt kit (stock hp is 180bhp, on wheel? Minus 20% and age factor? 10% more?), say only 150whp
Spareparts dun say la, any major engine parts have to buy complete engine lantai..
Comes wit stock small intercooler, n small turbo, upgrade somemore la bigger hardware around rm5000-8000 wit management then can get pass the 200+ hp.. (Already almost 20k Lol)

But if u wan to play extreme gsr is the best choice, can even go to 400-500hp depending on ur deep pockets.. But mostly ppl just wanna play abit and dun want to leceh convert especially satria neo as no cross member n theres a complication on where the engine mounts are..
Camproturbo is safe if u let the "know how to" ppl do it n they are proven..
If u go to anybody to do camproturbo without checking their reputation, chances are you are just investing in a time bomb..

Powerzone was developing campro supercharge and failed terribly and now they want to do bolt ons? They told me even supercharged got heating issues and wonders how Xenon Motorsports turbocharged cars n no heating issues..

Thats the difference between r&d on own cars and r&d on customers car POWERZONE!!!

knowledge is power..

Consider how the engine transplant's affect the weight distribution of the car itself. Neo already has a bad front and rear weight distribution, plonking the heavier 4G93T will caused the Neo to behave more like a straight line machine which require much more steering correction during fast corner. Suspension, bars and tyres need to factor in too!
Back to BOT, Campro block is not as reliable as the stock 4G93T. Additional $$$ need to spend on block reinforcement to avoid cracking.
Yo have to get rid of the stock Campro internals too. In the end, it definitely cost more than a 4G93T transplant.
If you plan to play with it for long, 4G93T is definitely a better buy over the Campro as the higher engine capacity already provide more room for improvements.
Just make sure to pay attention to the balance between handling and power.

changing a campro to gsr will cost u time n money laa bro..got to buy a new engine..endorse it..overhaul everything...if u just do BOT..safe money, safe time..no need so laju lahhh...malaysia only maa..not afraid to AES mehh??? :top:

I chose to go with campro turbo. Currently i am driving satria neo campro. which is producing 250whp.

Hi peeps,
Anyone know of any company or service provider that can open and clean car headlamp lenses to remove the ugly yellowish gunk forming on an old headlamp?

If anyone knows of a service do share with us ya.
