Actually i am surprised with the vast difference in price. When RE-001 was launched BS warned all tyre shops cannot throw prices that is one reason why I did not use because 215/45R17 was selling at RM430 those days.....:banghead:

Ya, with prices so vast difference, I kinda worried actually. What if somewhere sell so much cheaper and we bought at a higher price instead? RM10 - RM30 diff still k la. Is more like whether you are lucky to find a shop selling cheapest.

How come the 16 & 17 are the same price?
More reasonable but still not keen anymore as I'm already a bit anti BS due to their history of pricing. Traction rating only A some more, I can get tires with AA with those pricing.

So Bs has become the real BS to u instead... BS = Bullshit adi

AA one only ATR sports right? hehe

That is why you should check around for the prices first. Also be careful of hidden charges, then hidden cons.....hhahahhaha:biggrin:

Ya, learnt from buying Kancil tyre, really paying tuition fees makes me remember it well LOL!
Things like camber nut, and have to check whether include gst, alignment and balancing.

Tyre metal valve usually not included also have to consider to add into pricing.

Hahaha yeah, real BS already for quite a long time actually.

AA still got many what, GT HPY, PS3, Hankook V12, Dunlop Sportmaxx, GY F1, etc2.

Oh ya, if <17 then less choices, only got PS3, F1-D5, S-Drive, GT HPX, the ATR Sports, and maybe some Continental, Hankook & Federal? I'd pick PS3 or F1-D5 though among those.

But my 17 also not as common size coz I need 225/50/17. Mostly available are 225/45/17 or at least 215/50/17.

He see PS3 dy, almost double his ATR price......:smokin:

Ya, that's why in the midst of planning for 17" upgrade.

Changing to 16" now means prolong your 17" dream only. Need to finish of this new set of 16" tyres.......hhahhahahahha:biggrin:

Might be crazy enough to trade once got the budget to just change hahaha! Sell my stock rims together with tyre. For the moment now got vios owner interested in my stock rims.

Problem is selling your tyres 2nd hand, loses a lot, or you can con the vios owner for higher....hahhahahahha......

Since Myvi SE rims can cost RM380 for 4 pieces. But not sure how much to sell mine then.
Sell too expensive, ppl rather go for Advanti

RM1K include tyres shouldnt be asking too much gua. RM800 a bit low pula...

Got but not many choices as considered odd size, better off with 215/45R17.....hahhahhaha:biggrin:

If the rims are wide enough (7.5) better use 225/45 as it's about the same thickness as 205/50. If 215/45 is about 0.4-0.5cm thinner and will start to get a bit harsh IMHO coz it drops below 10cm sidewall height already. Sylphy is a comfort car, so ride quality should be more priority I'd think.
