Anyone Own A Civic Ek-3 Vi ?

Hi all,

Do you have the similar car as me ? Model is E-EK3 Vi 1.5 , stage vtec , multimatic gearbox.

I am staying at OUG. My car so far is fine, although it is about 9 years old already. Recently just has the speed sensor broken. Although it is not as fast as b16a... or other DOCH VTEC , i am happy with it, vteck kick in at 6,000 RPM. Fuel consumption is quite ok. Driving in city can get 12 -13 KM / liter. if i am driving most at high way, it can reach 14-15 KM / liter.

MInd to share with me ? any car also can lah.. not necessary EK3 Vi. Just want to know more honda's fan. Have a great day.

mine is ek3 Mi, but change engine oledi...i bought Mi instead of Vi cause i dun like the motorized antenna at the back... :D

mine EK 3 with multimatic gear system use carburator engine(donno how come ek model has this type of engine.... i just take it last 3 months) very not powerful. fuel tank (rm50) can go araound 400 - 450km (it save my money...hahha). im stay at jalan duta.. maybe can get Yam Cha together

Black 2k, 16" cromed rim, 2" exhaust piping, Tanabe rear muffler, SAFC...power ok..lah
can frenly main syok with supercharge AE92 standard 7psi..hmmm...

mine is also ek3 three stage vtec. i am getting 430km for 38l of petrol mostly city driving with crower stage 2 cam,full supersprint exhuast,vafc,15 inche rims, its a good car i can say among all the civic ever.the look is BEST!!!!!!!!!

wah..u got crower stage 2 cam? where to buy? how much?

and i thing if i'm not mistaken, our EK3 cannot fit with vafc due to the ECU problem?? <_<

itulah hakikatnya bang sham... kata bro.mamat pomen " engine got injection system but combination wit carburator... not full injection la" :(

around 9pm at project w/maju this nite have a deal with spring seller.... free tak? can u be my guider, bro.sham?

Carburator ! i have done some search about ek 3 vi before but there is no carburator. Is your also come with 3 -stage vtec. RM 50 go around 400- 450 KM , good ! most of the time drive in high way or in town ? if i drive most of the time in town, then i wll go abot 350- 380 KM with RM 48 fuel. If most high way, i reach 500 KM with RM 48 fuel before, with a very gentle drive, try to has "12 V" mode running all the time.

sure can yum cha lah..then can share some experience mah.

hi,

why you change the gear box ? multi matic rosak ? or you want to have better performance ? how much do you pay for the manual gear (gearbox + installation). Any D15B manual gear box can fit ? if got chance , must have a look at your car lah..

its possible both me and my friend also install vafc,its only that when tuning part dont touch 0-3000rpm that part after that do wat ever u wan ..as our ek3 three stages vtec for the lean saving fuel mode is around that 0-3000rpm range.also just dont connect the vtec engage wire.this is wat n my friend do. using dyno tuing btw.........

the crower stage 2 cam bought at singapore option garage for SGD1000.

Mi's engine no vtec, Vi got vtec...both 1.5 SOHC multimatic also...Vi more accesories like Nav panel, driver/passenger lights....i bought Mi cause it's cheaper than Vi, just need the chasis onli, engine changed oledi...cannot stand auto, left leg get jealous for not being used... :D ...

ek3's a good car. been used it 4 the past 1 year...almost trouble free (if u jaga the maintenance laaa). but kinda itchy 2 change it 2 manual g/box...x tahan laa layan auto...
