If you can’t be trackside for the 2011 Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix and if you’re lucky enough to make the guest-list through a contest you might want to head for the ‘Rev it Up!’ live broadcast party thrown by Shell Helix and Malaysian Evo that will also have race simulators on show and exciting prizes to be won.

Now in its second year, the invitation-only party will allow guests to catch the on-track action live with a free flow of food and ice-cold drinks to quench their thirst on. Apart from the live broadcast of the race, guests will also get to race each other in the Formula One simulators that will be set up. Other activities include a mini treasure hunt, lucky draws, PlayStation 3 games and a race result prediction with the top prize being two pairs of tickets for the upcoming Singaporean Grand Prix.

The ambience will be kept light hearted by Fly FM’s DJ Hafiz while street magician Zlwin Chew will keep everybody entertained with his sleight of hand.

The party will be held at Ecoba Restaurant and Bar on 10 April from 2pm to 6.30pm. if you com decked out in your best Ferrari F1 team attire you just might win the ‘Best Dressed Fan’ of the day contest. If you want to make the guest list, details on that can be found at Malaysian Evo’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/malaysianevo.

A friend has fitted an NGV to his KIA for RM3600, and he expects the savings to payback in 12 months or so (savings of RM300 per month).

Any of you gents have any experience good or bad to share on using Natural Gas ?
Is it worth the bother of carrying a gas tank in your boot (and losing space for luggage)?

Why isn't NGV catching on? The majority users are the taxis, judging by their demand for gas at Petronas...
