Zerotohundred.com's first Go Kart Enduro was a success. 23 Teams each consisting
of 3 individuals per team compete for the title. The event started from as early
as 830am. As usual, the Zerotohundred.com section was set up displaying the ever
irresistible line of merchandise and also trophies and prizes from Conoco,
Tufoil, and Gold Eagle. Registration goes on and by 930am, the go karts were
examined and tested to ensure a "better" running condition. 9:45am, Driver's
briefing. Rules and regulations were stressed and all was set. Engines were
started, all drivers head for the grid.
Unfortunately, due to stress, some karts failed and retired. All the way
through the race, some damaged karts were swapped for better ones, proving more
challenge to the endurance race. Weather was also a significant stress factor.
The racers had to further endure the heat and glare. It truly was an endurance.
