Bros,

Want to sell my muffler:-

- JASMA approved
- Straight flow based on Trust design
- 6" tip
- Very sweet tone, probably slightly louder than HKS Silent Hi Power
- Minor scratches (my mem underestimated kerb height while reversing...)
- Est. RM700.00

Bro..how's the TRD muffler..any difference compare to the old..???
Must come to the TT and compare the sound lah...hehehe.
Want to hear how a new TRD muffler sound compare to HKS Silent Hi-Power...

Some photos of my new TRD muffler:-

Here's my review:-

Sound : well, quite boring actually. Low deep bassy sound. I think my old muffler (selling here) was much livelier. But then again, sound preference is subjective..depends on driver..:-)

Respond + power : improved lower to mid torque, more solid feel when accelerating and power is smoother throughout the entire RPM range. Gear change is also bit more delayed. At high revs, RPM does not drop as easily when you let go of the pedal

Fuel consumption : improvement in city driving. but for highway driving, slight drop in mileage.

Overall : Performance-wise I think its a sensible upgrade if driving a lot in the city like me (80% traffic jam). But less head turn when vroom vroom coz ppl further away cannot hear maa...hahaha...
If i ever sell this TRD muffler in the near future, it will only be because of the sound. Very happy with the performance.

greytezza, please give us review of your RS*R manifold also lah....

wah..very tempting...hehehe....ya ryonan...are you able to snap some pics on ur used muffler?....i might interested..hehehe

Bro DjAtB..ryonan posted the pic of his used muffler at the top of the thread...pls go to the top and you will find the links to the pic...wanna join the club ha...hehehe

Bro Ryonan..u a prof photographer huh...u take very nice pics of yr TRD muffler...hehehe.
Maybe u can be our official Altezza Club photographer...how about it..U and bro Hansc...hehehe.

Z-Edition,
The TRD muffler is called High Response Muffler Version S. In general all S-flow mufflers are for autos, including this one. my ride is also auto.
Just for info, other s-flow mufflers for altezza are Fujitsubo and Tanabe. Pricewise s-flows are more expensive than straight flow.

DjAtB,
Its very nice muffler esp if u r driving manual

Greytezza,
Not prof photographer lah..maybe coz the muffler is brand new so if using RM5 camera also will still look brilliant..hahahaa...

Thanks, bro. Looks nice...I'm also very interested. Did you get it from Wing Hin or VisionAuto? Where can I get the Fujitsubo/Tanabe ones, I'm afraid I can't afford TRD stuff...

Go get it from Wing Hin coz it will be cheaper. VisionAuto will sell you at a higher price...I know coz I have compare both prices before.
I believe it will take about a month for it to be ship in by Wing Hin. I think it will cost around 2.3-2.4K.

Fujitsubo and Tanabe u can order at Amoil Sunway...
If I can recall correctly, Fujitsubo has 2 models, old and new. tanabe has one.
Get either tanabe or fujitsubo (new)...nice design.
Delivery can be quite long though...

Price depend on exchange rate..maybe RM1.9 to 2.0k..TRD is about RM2.4k..
TOM's is few hundred more expensive than TRD..

Anyway hang on a bit la...MAY want to sell my TRD (if the silence is bugging me to much..hahahaa)

When did you buy the TRD one? I've seen the Fujitsubo Power Getter and it looks good...

Power Getter

Legalis R:

It seems that the Legalis R has a slightly better gain over the Power Getter, but the Legalis R weighs more by 3kgs...

What I don't understand is why is the part no same for both Auto and Manual Tezzas?

Damn, that's like days ago...and you want to sell it already? Is the sound that unimpressive? Does it sound like the stock one?

I've check Tanabe...I think they don't make it anymore...I couldn't find it...

Which is newer? Power Getter or Legalis R?

I'm using the FGK power getter..I don't think it's that new, using it for quite some time already.
