Perodua Axia - Fuel Efficiency issues

Hi All, Please do share with me your thoughts on this issue I face.

I purchased a new Axia (G model) a few days ago. Probably have driven it for 70 kms or so. I filled in around 11 litres pertrol and there was 2 litre from the showroom.

However when i check the KM/Litre avergae it shows just 5.4km.

The advertising says 20.1 for an auto model. I understand it will be lower than that - but 5.4 is ridiculous.

Can you guys tell me if this number is because the car is new or is there a big mechanical issue with the car?

Much appreciated.

regards,
esd

I think the result should calculated more accurate as from full tank.

If not mistaken, the program calculate the kilometer mileage clocked divided the fuel liter. This happen (calculation) when it detected your fuel cover cap got open.

Best to fill full, run, refill full, then divide your total mileage against your refill amount is most accurate.....

Your car hasn't even broken in yet. Break past the 1000km and quickly do your oil change then only measure your FC again.

New cars before first service mostly consume fuel more than average. However, the consumption will get better after first service.

law on car-crimes aint strict?

Help me out here. Are Mlysn law on car-crimes strict? It doesnt seem strict to me. I'm just passing thru and I read quite a few threads here. The car crime-spree in Mlys is bad. Correct me if I am wrong.

Reasons for these are
1. Not enough patrols are being done by the law enforcement.
2. Not enough on-duty police officers.
3. Building owners(shopping areas) should provide more able private security officers(to make customers feel...
