Upon arrival, we had already expected a long day. This Honda Accord was inspected beforehand. The car is 1 year old but fully maintained by a "so called detailer" around the owner's area. They even guaranteed a 100% recovery for the paint after seeing its damages. You be the judge.

Since it rained in the morning, its obvious that the paint does not have any sort of protection left.

The first kind of damage we spotted around the car was these, they were all over the car, a sudden patch of haziness.

Another hazy spot.

Under the natural light, it is very obvious that the car had been sent to a paint shop and the paint shop finishing was a nightmare.

The direction of the scratches from the G6 compound used by paint shops.

Other than that, we also spotted some severe watermark etching.

Door handle bowls were also heavily scratched.

Now a view with proper lighting.

Extremely scratched up.

Some areas which were not repainted was slightly better.

Now for the paint correction procedure. Obviously, we did the standard washing, claying, stain removals and tar removal.
We corrected a section of the hood, check out the obvious difference in colour and depth.

The corrected section is very obvious.

We also did a test panel on one of the repainted panel.

This is a repainted panel. Before.

After paint correction on the same panel.

After know how the paint reactions to the paint correction system we use, we started the paint correction.
This is a Before indication of the swirl amount.

After 1 pass, we spotted some leftover deeper RIDS (random isolated deep scratches)

1 more pass to clear it up.

Other areas.

Side door panels.

Some damages were too severe, even after a few passes the damage cannot be removed fully.

The general condition after paint correction went on for 10hours.

We did a total makeover for the paint and now it looks like a bright star in the sky.

More after correction.

This is how the reflection looks like after paint correction.

We're packing up for the day and continuing tomorrow.

Due to limited time, we didn't document the wheels but here is am after shot.
Total Bling.

Entire procedure took 2 days, timed around, 17hours. Check out the results.

Hi I have a Lancer with a swap to a 4G92 MIVEC as per the picture:

Recently the oil pressure has started to go low when the engine is at idle/tickover.

View attachment 569064

This is shown on my oil pressure gauge as well as the oil light on the dashboard had been flickering.

Also the car won't go into MIVEC mode.

I have checked the oil, it is at the correct level on the dip stick and was only changed about 3000 KM ago, running 10W40 fully synthetic...
