im starting my old school experience with a Opel Manta
bought it without an engine, just pure body , not even seats
car previously was used with a 1jz


currently planned to
- strip off 3 layers of paint
- primer the car & paint it solid orange
- 17" rims

2nd stage
- inline 6 ehhehe

Bro jinxkl,

U got a good base for modify. Opel Manntra design is somehow close to the shelby eleanor. But this car uses leaf spring for the rear rite? I'm asuming that you going to change it to the coil type rite? How do you go about it. Mind to share.

skywalker: hehehe cant afford rb26, most likely rb25 and definitely wont start the project anytime soon. no budget yet.

have a ol skool Volvo 264GL

recently changed the engine cause old engine was giving too much problems..

Wanted something different so i decided to introduce the swede body with a new heart from Japan. :_:

Didnt want an engine which was over powering for the chassis, so i went for a RB20 with an auto tranny. Nowadays in KL, auto seems to be the best solution once in awhile.

Exterior is stock standard :X-:

mine another 4 more years to go b4 hit 30 years and can get deduction frm roadtax... yoohoo... the 2.5 roadtax can be killing sometimes but luckily old car insurance damm cheap ... even my bike's insurance more xpensive..haha

Lopot : Don't think it's advisable to change from leafsprings to coils ... unless you got tons of cash, tons of time cause it takes quite a big large of modification needs to be done

cohiba : i know of a friend or a workshop that does specialize in volvo modification and man, out come is sweet ...
