Hi,

If I want to install an oil cooler, is it a must to upgrade my oil sump as well?

It won't hurt to have faster flowing oil since you're reducing the oil pressure by adding the cooler. But this is highly dependent on the type of cooler you're installing. If it's a small one and doesn't affect the pressure much then no need la. If you're gonna go bigass with the cooler then most likely a stronger oil pump would be useful

faster flow of oil is good, but moving bigger oil volume at a higher rate with upgrade oil pump will cause parasitic lose for the engine. You gain something, you lose something...

Recent visit to the UMW Toyota website shows that a new variant of the Vios, called the Toyota Vios 1.5G Limited, will be launched soon. The price has been listed at RM89,600 (on the road, with insurance) on UMW Toyota's website. The 1.5G Limited is positioned below the range topper TRD Sportivo and above of the standard 1.5G, which is RM2,300 cheaper. I managed to snap this photo of the Toyota Vios Sportivo...
