Hi,
Someone told me that the GTi and GSr block is the same except that the GTi oil squirter is block is this true??

obviously..... NOT! =)

GSR has oil squirters....

Turbo block is turbo block la... n/a block is n/a block... can ask rorytate to tell you what happens when you use GTi block on a GSR... =)

block is basically the same just with the oil squitters , which doesn't make much difference , the difference is the compression of the pistons , if wanna turbocharge the gti engine , make sure to use the gsr pistons to be on the safe side .

What about material build of the block?? same ar??

logic tells me that GSR block would be stronger as its designed to withstand forced induction...

yes, 93T block is stronger. Crank and conrods are also suppose to be different i.e. stronger. 93T also has a small water-oil heat exchanger and the relevant plumbing to make it work in the block... urm, taught we answer this before.
