There’s probably nothing more than a good drag race the average American motorhead would enjoy and some of their performance offerings tend to reflect that but the only thing missing from this supercar drag race is precisely that, good old American muscle.
Evo magazine decided to invite the who’s who of the supercar world and have them all get down and dirty on the straight line. Germany, Italy and England were all present but America wasn’t handed out an invite.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S represented Germany while the Ferrari 458 Italia had Italy’s back and the Union Jack was flown high by the McLaren MP4-12C and the Noble M600.
We won’t spoil it for you but all we can say is that power was the deciding factor in this race. Nonetheless, if you watched the Fifth Gear video we posted previously, you would know that power isn’t always everything but in this case it clearly was. Also, don’t toss in the towel on the underdog, the tag’s there for a reason.
