Campaign looks for most creative expression of the “My Design. My Pride” theme to celebrate the upcoming launch of the all-new Toyota Vios. Shah Alam, 3 October 2007 – UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd is pleased to announce the “My Design. My Pride” campaign to celebrate the upcoming launch of the all-new Toyota Vios. To kick-start the campaign, the company is engaging six art colleges around Malaysia to take part in painting competition over a life size fiberglass mould in the form of the soon to be launched all-new Toyota Vios</p><p> <img border="0" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/news/october/vios/LUCT1.JPG" width="500" height="332"></p><p>The painting competition presents a chance for students from participating colleges to express their ideas through a three dimensional painting concept. Students will have a free hand at coming up with their interpretation of the “My Design. My Pride” campaign. <br><br>“At Toyota, we continuously look at new ideas to express our products to the general public. “My Design. My Pride” campaign was developed to celebrate the all-new Toyota Vios which represents our pride in automotive innovation. The overall campaign is created to engage our target audience and the general public to share our pride,” said Tn Hj Aminar Rashid Salleh, Executive Director of UMW Toyota Motor.</p><p><img border="0" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/news/october/vios/Dasein1.jpg" width="500" height="375"></p><p>The art college competition will see six fiberglass moulds developed in the form of the upcoming Toyota Vios. These moulds will be delivered to the participating colleges that have been selected to participate. Colleges that have been selected comprise <br>LimKokWing University of Creative Technology in Putrajaya, The One Academy, Malaysian Institute of Art and Dasein Academy of Art, which are based in Kuala Lumpur. Also participating in the competition are University Teknologi Mara in Shah Alam and Equator Academy of Art in Penang. <br><br>Results of the competition will be announced after the official launch event of the all-new Toyota Vios. <br><br>The “My Design. My Pride” campaign is also extended to the general public through the online design contest at Toyota. The online competition is designed to engage the website visitors to utilise an online design tool that allows them to create their own expression of style, design and colour for the all-new Toyota Vios.<br><br>“My Design. My Pride” campaign was created to reflect the automotive innovation surrounding the development of the all-new Toyota Vios.
