Aston Martin’s car lineup has always been impressive, stunning and powerful (minus the Cygnet of course), making it the perfect ride for those in search for a classy Grand Tourer where at the same time packing a punch when needed. And now, a new one is about to join in the Gentleman’s car family tree, dubbed as the AM 310 or the Vanquish Mk2.

Still bearing the unmistakable look of today’s Aston Martin, the new Vanquish also features some new styling cues derived from their limited-run One-77 like the elegant new waist line and the LED rear lights.

Like the DBS, the new Vanquish also houses a 6.0-litre V12 engine, producing 573 horsepower at 6,750rpm with a maximum torque of 620Nm at 5,500rpm. All the grunt from the massive V12 will be sent to the rear through a six-speed paddle-shift auto transmission, giving it a 0-100 time in 4.1 seconds and will keep on running to a top speed of 295km/h.

And like most high-end cars of today, it will also feature a lot of carbon fiber for its body panels not only for the purpose of being lighter, but also to improve torsional rigidity. The Vanquish’s inside is exactly what one will get after paying the £189,995 (RM944,000) price tag, where the interior is styled with both comfort and elegance in mind. Dashes of leather and Alcantara could be found all over, coupled up with Bang & Olufsen’s stereo system to provide great quality entertainment to the occupants.

The AM 310 Vanquish will be available in both 2+2 and 2+0 configuration, and will start its first deliveries in the UK and Europe in late 2012. I wonder, would Handsome Rob approve of this new Vanquish?

Quick question... what can affect the length and sustainability of the threads for your tires??? I used to use Falken tires for my 14" rims and they always got worn out after 8+ mths. So, this time around I decided to change my tires to Goodyear Ducaro 4 tires, hoping this'll lessen my need to change new tires every 8 mths. I don't race, I don't squeal my tires often, but I do sometimes take corners a lil bit on the fast side. Do you tink it could be cos my Falken tires were "softer"...
