It was only a matter of time before BMW tuning specialist AC Schnitzer weaved their magic on the BMW 5 Series F10 even if the current packages only cater to the initial F10 models. There’s definitely more in store in terms of performance and styling in time to come.

Right off the shelf, the 530d can get a boost up to 286hp from the factory 245hp through a plug in performance upgrade. If you’re the proud owner of a 520d, 525d and 535d, fret not as AC Schnitzer are currently developing performance enhancements for those models. The range topping 530d, 535d, 535i and 550i get the added benefit of twin sports rear mufflers with chromed tips as well.

Giving the F10 some added stance would be springs that lower the car by 25mm to ensure it sits flush on 19 or 20-inch AC Schnitzer branded wheels. All the wheels are available in widths of 9jj or 10jj. Sitting behind those wheels would be an eight pot brake calipers chomping down on cross-drilled rotors for additional stopping prowess.

The AC Schnitzer gave some extra attention to the exterior to subtly emphasize the lines of the F10. A lower front apron with a redesigned front grille and foglight cutouts take care of the business end while the rear bumper gets a diffuser. Completing the exterior would be some side sill extensions with a chrome blade, a roof spoiler and a boot lid spoiler.

Ok, 22” are still acceptable but not this. 30” is huge and mind boggling but 40” !!?? I don’t know what to say, there are no words in my vocabulary. It’s not that I’m...
