hye.. my name is razo..

i've put carb 4g91 on my 4g13P engine.. anybody know how to get perfect tuning..

somebody told me that the carb have it's controller.. where can i get that controller and if i'm not using that controller what effect will happen to my vehicle..?

sorry bad english.. i'm also new here.. thanks...

original engine for 4g91 using its own ecu.. if mod or use without ecu also can.. the ecu more on control the distributor fire...

but how about if i'm using only the carb?? will the carb function as like i'm using the ecu??

of course not. the ecu is actually calculating many input like knocking sensor. the car doenst have any of this. if u use the carburetor even more high FC. my friend is using now, bt he put in a wira carburetor instead of using the 4g91 car. XD

thats mean it will just throw out my money isn't?? but somebody told me this carb is will give a few power for the car.. will it??

yes..the carburetor type will give slight power as u can see the 4g91 carburetor actually got 2 butterfly valve.. it sucks in more fuel when you push pedal on the floor. if u are looking for more better FC, ecu its better. other than that the ecu type . ecu have potiential to increase high power bandwidth. hehe . BOT

dude. u need to get along the wiring and all the sensor.. it can cost u up to 1500$ plus minus for whole set. mudah there selling a lot i saw. if you wan put 1.8 dohc wiring and ecu also ok one. more powerful.. hehe.. bt FC comsume slightly more.

dont waste ur money.. no need to use 4g91 ecu.. that ecu need to combine with distributor and carb together... juz use the carb only... better FC if drive below 4.8k rpm.. more than that the 2nd fly would be open means more air n fuel.. n of course more syiok!!! sound like mivec n vtec.. more important have to find a good installer n tuner... not all tuner able to do that.. if they know how to tune but wrong installation, of couse it would not meet ur expectation...

im using that carb rite now on my 4g15 ...
the FC is great...30KM for rm10 speed 60KMJ

what i want to ask is, when im using 4g91 carb, the rpm not knock when reach 8K...is tat mean i need to buy aftermarket RPM?

Hi,
I also have a Mikuni 2 barrel electronic controlled carburator and it comes with my surplus change engine 4G15.

We did not install the mikuni carb because Electronic Controller was not included. I'm not sure if this better than weber.
But you have great FC. Is this the same carb your using? I can build my own controller if it worth building.

Sori not able to help w/ your inquiry. We don't use term "knock" here in Philippines so I don't understand..

haha....i mean when my car reach its 8k of its rpm (which is my car rpm limit) but my engine rev sound like it can go more than 8K

haha.... :p
how to check if the 2nd trottle is working or not?

remove the air filter and play with the throttle and see how or u can monitor in cockpit while drive...if the got vtec sound like mean the 2nd butterfly open...

Here's some video about Vacuum gauge as simple automotive diagnostic tool.

How to Use a Vacuum Gauge for Diagnostics - YouTube

It was explained here that increasing the throttle will increase the vacuum. Now if 2nd throttle was open. Possible indication in vacuum. Maybe small drop to indicate opening of 2nd valve. That's you want to know.

Here's another application of Vaacuum Gauge.
It can also guide you for fuel efficiency.
