Hello everyone,

Need advices for any of you who are using adjustable absorbers.

Have any of you experience using adjustable absorbers producing some "krok-krok" sound when sometimes going through some rough roads and pot holes.

I heard that we need to insert somekind of rubber to reduce the noise?

Do you have any ideas?

TQ

coilover adjustable is no need to put in water hose as the spring is fit and sit well with the absorber. just send to speedwork and ask them to check, suspected the sound is from top mount.

experience tells me the top mount rubber bearing spoiled (if you not using metal top mounting), it is time to change, should not be expensive.

most of the fully adjustable suspension with top-pillowball mount will create noise when hit bump or crossing at uneven road...its normal

since ur pillowball mount is no longer the rubber type, it will hv friction with ur car chassis...metal to metal...thus produces noise.the noise is kinds of 'Tak tak tak"....

ask who use adjustable like me, guess most of them oledi use to the sound...haha

or if u not sure, get back to speedwork for check..even if its fixed, the sound will appear again soon.....since urs is krok krok sound....maybe is ur ball joint or those bushes sound. i not sure.

good luck
