Hi guys, who here has upgraded their fuel pump? I am looking at the Walbro GS series (255lph ) I have read online that it is not a direct fit? Anyone with experience?

I did it at Ah Wah previously and he kawtim everything for me. As far as I recall, I don't remember having any fitting modifications.

Bear in mind that Walbro is noisy especially when it's hot afternoon. You can hear it from inside and very loud from outside the car at the bottom rear wheel...

Thanks guys. Yeah seems the Walbro is renowned for being noisy. I just bought the DW 200 which should be a pretty easy install. I will post up some pics once it's in

Pump went in fine.. the plastic pump basket is a bit different to the Evo one (have to take out fuel level sender first), the new pump connectors need to be adapted and the bottom cap of the pump basket needs a small piece cut out to fit properly.. runs fine though. If anyone is interested I can do a guide with pictures
