Motorists will soon stand a chance to win an all expense paid trip to the Abu Dhabi’s Formula1™ Race this November 2010 just by fuelling up at Shell! The Shell V-Power 97 Cash Contest will be held over a span of eight weeks commencing 5th August 2010 through to 30th September 2010. In addition to the Grand Prize, there is also RM129,000 to be won weekly from Shell Malaysia with a minimum purchase of RM30 for any Shell fuels, lubricants or selected Shell Select items nationwide.

The launch of this Contest further complements Shell Malaysia’s latest addition to its V-Power family of fuels, Shell V-Power 97, which is designed for improved power and performance whatever car you drive. Currently available at over 780 Shell stations nationwide, Shell V-Power 97 is priced at the regulated RON97 price of RM2.10.

To participate in the Shell V-Power 97 Cash Contest, customers merely need to fill up a form, attach a proof of purchase receipt and place it into the contest drop boxes at participating Shell stations. Customers who pump a minimum of RM30 of Shell V-Power 97 stand a chance to double their chances of winning and will be given two entry forms.

On a weekly basis, contestants stand a chance to win:
1 winner x RM30,000 Cash
3 winners x RM3,000 Cash
300 winners x RM300 Cash

Upon the completion of eight weeks, all 32 weekly winners will be called on for an elimination round in which their skills and knowledge will be put to the test in an intensive series of questions and answers session. From here, only six of the highest scorers will make it to the final challenge at the Sepang International F1 Circuit. The Final Challenge will consist of an obstacle course leading them closer and closer to the winning experience courtesy of Shell Malaysia. Three lucky winners from this Challenge will embark on a journey to Abu Dhabi to witness the Formula 1 Race.

The next time you drive into a Shell station, look out for the contest form and submit your
entries.
