After u activate launch control,let say the rpm figure at 4000.When u say WOT, does that means u floor the pedal to the metal? (100% of throttle). Yes, i know when u activate launch control, the rpm wont go any higher beyond the desired rpm. In my opinion, to reach 4000rpm, u dont really need WOT. 50% and above of throttle will get ur engine speed to this preset rpm figure.
p/s: Could it be ur drive train is 4wd? :D
