Dear all zth tyres sifoos...

I'm currently looking to get a set of tyres for my rims, which I will be shipping to melbourne in a couple of months together with my furniture and stuff.

I've briefly read through most posts, and had realised that most would opt for T1R, or the PS3, or the 595E...I have no experience with 15" sized tyres, as most of my experiences only evolved around the 14" AD07s in my green goblin KE70 and 86...

So, I need some assistance here..

I will be using the tyres on a daily road car/family car in melbourne, and hoping to get the best value and traction...I know there's no such thing as the perfect tyre(the ad07 came close though ), but I want something that's good on both wet and dry.

I would prolly want to get them somewhere in PJ. or even klang(papan)...so would appreciate the updates on the pricing and location of those tyres(T1R, PS3, 595E)...

or if you think of other brands that's better, pls do let me know.

Budget I have in mind ought to be as low as possible...but would could vary...

thanks in advance.

cheers!

Hankook V12.. cheap, good in wet and dry...

but australian roads may be different than ours.. then theres also the weather... u should try browsing more in australian based forums and find out wat tires they usually recommend over there...and perhaps find out the price as well...it just might be cheaper over in australia

i don't know if this more expensive or cheaper compared to here...

cc5 is going for aud210 a piece. how much does it cost here?

RE002 for AUD159 is helluva deal, especially when compared to CC5 which is going for AUD210.

@ Grex,

yeah, the RE002 is a better deal, but the pricing is only until end of this month! I won't be able to get it, unless I get my wife to buy it...which she will not do so...

@ banzai,
thanks for the link, will give it a thought soon...

@evoZ,
what model is it, and what's the manufactured date?

cheers!

As far as I know, unless you Have 4 seasons then snow tyres are different. Summer tyres are the same, but they might have more all seasons tyres.
But if into wet and dry performance summer tyres are the one to go for.....

Thanks for the input guys.

AFAIK, I've checked that most of the tyres used in OZ(for summer) are similar to here. AD07s, 595, T1R, R1R, CC5, etc.

Most brands we have here, they have them too. It's the pricing that I see that's different. of course I may be wrong and stand corrected.

Anyways, any other brands with recent price lists that I should be mae aware before buying?

I'm leaning towards brand new, latest manufactured dates tyres.

cheers!
