It was only a matter of when, not if; and true to form, German tuners Hamann have unveiled the first styling package for the new BMW 5-Series (F10).

The kit, although anything but subtle, is more of a lip package that adds on to the OEM bumpers with a front spoiler, aggressive side skirts and a rear bumper center valence. We’re hoping that the roof and trunk spoilers do actually function to increase downforce, otherwise it just looks plain dodgy to have both.

Stance makes or breaks a ride and if the styling kit doesn’t strike a fancy with you, Hamann also has a lowering kit that slams the ride by about 35mm and shoehorns 20-inch wheels under those arches.

Daytime running LED lights can be mounted to the OEM bumper while the 550i can also be fitted with a stainless steel quad tailpipe sports exhaust system.

Completing the package would be carbon fiber trim for the interior that can fe fitted to the dashboard, doors, center console and steering wheel. Pedal stomping becomes easier with aluminium pedals.

If you already have an F10 parked in your driveway and can’t conform with following the crowd, you’ll have to hold on to that blank cheque a little while longer as the kit isn’t quite available yet but will be very soon.
