Can any one custom made BRAKE PUMP BRACKET for satria ?
I have seen brake pump bracket,it seems to be a very simple
bracket but cost more than hunderd bugs.
So i would like to ask any of u can teach me to custom made one ah.
a metal thing dat mounted onto the body(strut) then pushing at de brake pump there for better brake feel??
i'm thinking how to do it too... i saw my customers' car.. Euro R... he uses aircraft alloy to make it... damn nice... n solid.... wira a bit hard... need to get some metal bars n welding machine to do it...
our brake pump master cylinder unit is mounted on de firewal.. the firewall itself is made of a thin metal sheet... so its not dat solid.... metal sheet can be flexed...
during braking... we press the brake pedal... the brake pump will eventually move forward due to de flexibility of de firewall...
so ppl make this "Brake Stopper" thing to hold back this brake pump thing.. its a metal bracket mounted onto the car body and pushing/holding the brake pump part(metal thing below de resevour) in place. then we wil feel better braking with a firmer feel.
this thing is not so popular in malaysia yet.. i think other countries like japan have them...
Have you ever encounter, when you change your disk brake pad, the left and the right pad have big diffrent, means the right pad habis but the left pad still got lot. can anyone confirm this?
