ETC if not mistaken is a replacement for conventional cable pedal.. so that car didn't use a cable on acceleration pedal..

All cars have standard setting with used to maintain the lifetime and reduce the maintaining cost... and of course small cc will have a low FC compare with big CC and depend on type of engine... sohc, dohc, V6, V8 and rotary also have a different FC even the CC is same.. V-type engine suitable for cruising or long distance... rotary consider as high performance engine and the FC is also high.. common engine is only sohc and dohc while acceleration for dohc is better than sohc.. to get a better FC, use a suitable car for a suitable journey, with a suitable driving style...

the throttle control which advertises fuel saving is actually just another gadget that makes another fool part with their money.

the gadget actually just amplifies your throttle response, so in return no saving is achieved

so, the best fuel saver is actually the nut behind the wheel...

Merc's current C-Class is undoubtedly the class leading sedan today, beating closest rivals by a mile, where it matters. Their latest move on uniforming product design has likely got C-buyers thinking they're buying a mini S-Class. It may be cliche, but this recent standardization has worked wonders so far and it is glaringly obvious. It's kind of like Apple's MacBook. Same good looks, different measurements, all solidly engineered and a model suited for just about any discerning clientele...
