4th & 5th gear CAN'T reach max RPM on Satria1.3(M)

The problems that i facing now are:-
1) My car can't reach 6500rpm in 4th & 5th gear, it stopped around 4000rpm & cannot go up anymore, tried very hard on the highway from KL to Ipoh (but 1st,2nd & 3rd gear can reach 6500rpm w/out any prob).

2) My car's max top speed is 140km/h-145km/h & cannot go up anymore oso, dun hv any unnecessary heavy stuff inside the car, and fetch 1 passenger oli (had tried very hard on the highway from KL to Ipoh).

3) The fuel consumption damn bad, full tank RM65, can use for around 350km only


*My Satria 1.3 (M) yr2000 w/ some light mods
- Open pod air filter w/ short ram pipe
- 4-2-1 Extractor---> 1.8"piping--->2units bullets --->1.8"piping--->F-1 Muffler
- 14" Sport Rims

how come your satria 1.3 M can accomodate RM65 petrol? mine only RM50, also can go 350km of city driving....

wah.. my fren's satria oso can.. sekali up highway, sure full throttle... sampai meter panel cant support... wonder wat happen to ur car man..

Really, my 1.3M can put around RM65 when the tank almost empty, i pump w/ credit card,so pump till full tank, the range is RM62 - RM65. But only can run 350km in city driving. FYI, i m not using V-power, normally, i m using mobil & petronas fuel.....

My satria been overtake by a stock tiara on the highway!! That's y i m so sad & shame....sigh

FYI, previously i m using:
4-2-1 extractor--->1.8"piping--->1unit bullet--->1.8"piping--->GTi original twin tips muffler
with the exhaust system above, i m facing those 3problems on the 1st post.

Last week, I hv juz change my exhaust system to:
4-2-1 Extractor---> 1.8"piping--->2units bullets --->1.8"piping--->F-1 Muffler
but, the problems at the 1st post still exist, and no improvement

Because of your piping size, try using 1.6".

How come your full tank is RM 65? Should be max RM 55 leh.

top speed 140-145km/h??? wount so low guaaa bro..
i try use 4th gear to 6500rpm is aready 170km/h liao.....5th gear no need to use larr,no power anymore 1..
mine pump RM55 also can run around 350km only..some more i close air-cond driving 1..
haha about tiara i also kena smoke by tiara when uphill genting,i catch he until temp raise to red line also can not over take it.damn.that really keng......but 1 thing i can say,wira n satria 1.3 is very very under power 1...i also so sad.under power n very makan petrol...haizzz 1.3 ar 1.3....

Normally i heard satria stock can go up to 160-180kmh...1st gear 6okmh, 2nd gear 120kmh, 3rd gear 150kmh, 4nd gear 170kmh, 5 gear meter almost wan to tidur!!! Plz dont try it at street it could be dangerous!!!

wats the rev cut 4 4g15 any 1?
as i always shift at 6500rpm..cuts at 6800..
every gear is 40kmh...
the 4th is till 160kmh n when change 2 5th gear speed cut at 180

oh ya...its bcoz of the short gear ratio of 1.3 n 1.5 gearbox...

but 1 funny thing is tat my engine wit 1.3 earbox at 3k rpm 5th gear onli 90kmh

while stock 4g13 wit 1.3 gearbox will be 100kmh o a bit more on 3k rpm...

walau ery good liao,mine cannot do it larr,1 st 40km/h,2nd 90km/h
after 130km/h it will hard to more fast liao...

Izit ur piping too big for stock 1.3?

N ur open pod air filter i tink will make ur car underpower n FC bad.
