Like bro. lsm1991 mentioned no need. Skim only if overheated and warped. Simply skim increase the compression later need higher ron....lol
Oh, I actually thought is needed since I've read before over here that when doing overhaul, should skim the head. But I guess they refer about performance rather than necessity, hahahahaha.

u upgrade td06 or the td05?


if it was me, the td05 gonna get some love instead the td06

ok, after a few month of hard saving.
I finally got RM1.5k which remitted to my mechanic, will be sending the car next Saturday.

bought my own engine oil, shell helix, coolant, gear oil, spark plug & silicon drive shaft cap if need to be replaced.
a kamak td06 18g.

I told him to work within RM1.5k, nothing more as I don't have money for it unless really necessary.

Wish me luck..

So far so good. Turbo and Overhaul done ,going for reassemble.
Was told that the previous owner actually change the piston, looking at the code. Looks like EVO 5?
