Getting a 2nd hand Mazda RX-7 1996

we cannot trust the owner if he says that the car have not been tracked, but for me no point having a modified/sports/sports sedan car if u dowan to track it, whats the difference if u bring it to sepang or go for ulu yam/genting touge, can the car be categorised as "have not been tracked" if he go for touge?

if im buying an evo/subaru/silvia/skyline id be happier if the owner tracked it in sepang means
1. owner have money - to pay entry fees, car maintanance
2. knows his car's potential
3. has amateur or professional driving skills.
4. knowledgeable

I think this is true to a certain extent.

The better way of putting it is buying a car from a fellow car enthusiasts, not some racer boy wannabe.

It's like buying a car from Izso or v2rturbo (to name a few, hehe), you just know it's been properly maintained and looked after.

A car from vr2turbo definitely will buy. Car 20 years old still bling bling like new

No la not that expensive, to normal ppl is an old car, but sell to car enthusiasts 20K is consider reasonable. Worth around RM10K if not wrong now. Already 20 years old car lo.

true. insurance will be a problem, if unlucky insurance companies decline when applying for comprehensive coverage, either got loading fees or opt for 3rd party insurance with fire & theft.

Yup, vr2 told me that day, but he got lubang so car still manage to get Comprehensive coverage
I should get from that company of his next time

Galant VR4 convert also worth around 20 to 30k nowadays. Well, for that price, I'd rather take the Galant chassis than taking a Wira Evo. Even though Wira looks more modern, but I'm sure Galant had a better chassis.

U find him only unless u want to buy his VR2. His is VR2 cuz not 4wd Can drift only.
