When Lamborghini announced that they are making the Super Veloce version of their current Aventador, the world went berserk and it did not take long for them to have all 600 of them grabbed by potential buyers. If you missed the opportunity to own one, fret not as Lamborghini had just announced that they are now making the roadster version of their new Super Veloce!
“The Aventador LP 750-4 Super Veloce is the most pure, sports-oriented and emotional incarnation of a Lamborghini, and all 600 units have been sold, with first deliveries starting now. We will also produce a roadster version, which our dealers worldwide are now taking orders for,” said Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann.
Lamborghini is aiming to make the roadster more exclusive from the coupe by making only 500 of such examples. And that could only mean two things: 1. It will definitely be priced higher than the Aventador SV coupe which was priced at USD 493,069 (RM 1.874 million), 2. It will most likely be sold out quicker than the SV coupe (which saw all 600 units grabbed within weeks of its Geneva debut!)
The roof of the Aventador Roadster models is a simple two-piece design that snaps into place. The two pieces can fit nicely in the car’s front trunk, and not to forget they are extremely light and sturdy since they are made out of carbon fiber.
